Setup has 4 steps and takes about 5 minutes: download Telegram if you do not have it, create a family group and add your partner or family members, add Callie to the group using the button at meetcallie.ai/get-started, then type /setup in the group and Callie walks you through connecting your Google Calendar.
They do not need to. Both of you can use the Callie web app at app.meetcallie.ai. Each person signs in with their own Google account and shares the same family calendar. If you prefer Telegram, your partner will need to download it, but the web app removes that requirement entirely.

Calendar
During setup, you connect Callie to your Google Calendar using your Google account. Once connected, every event Callie adds appears instantly on all your devices. For Callie to work as a true family tool, both partners need to be sharing the same Google Calendar. During setup Callie can create a new shared calendar and walk you through sharing it with your partner, or you can connect an existing shared calendar you already have.
Just text your family group naturally. Examples: "dentist Tuesday at 3pm", "Shay soccer every Saturday at 11am until June", "dinner reservation Friday at 7:30 at Nobu". Callie parses the date, time, and recurrence automatically and adds it to Google Calendar. No commands to memorize.
Callie understands recurring event patterns from natural language. Say "soccer practice every Tuesday at 4pm until May" or "standing call every other Wednesday at noon" and Callie creates the recurring event in Google Calendar automatically. You can also update or cancel all instances of a recurring event by just telling Callie.
Yes. Send Callie a photo of a school schedule, sports roster, party invite, or any image with event information and she will read it and add the events to your Google Calendar automatically. No typing needed.
Just tell Callie to remove or change it. "Remove the dentist appointment Tuesday" or "move dentist to Wednesday at 2pm" or "change soccer to 11am". Callie will find the event and update or delete it from Google Calendar.
Yes. During setup you can choose any calendar in your Google account, including shared family calendars that already exist. If you prefer, Callie can create a brand new shared calendar and walk you through sharing it with your partner via Google Calendar settings.
Callie requests permission to read and write events on your Google Calendar. This is required to add, update, and delete events on your behalf. Callie does not access your Gmail, Google Drive, or any other Google services.
Features
Just say what you need in the group chat: "we need milk, eggs, and bread" or "add olive oil to the list". Callie adds items instantly. At the store, say "got the milk" to check items off as you go. Type /grocery anytime to see the full current list. Any family member can add or check off items.
Every morning at your chosen time (default 7am), Callie sends your family group a summary of today's events, tomorrow's events, any reminders due today, and local weather. It's a single message that tells your whole family what the day looks like before anyone has had coffee.
Tell Callie what to remind you about and when: "remind me to take the chicken out at 5pm", "remind us about soccer practice tomorrow at 8am", "remind me every Monday to call mom". Callie sends a Telegram message to the group at exactly the right time. Reminders can be one-time or recurring.
Register your email with Callie using /addemail, then forward any flight, hotel, or travel confirmation email to trips@trips.meetcallie.ai and Callie will parse the booking details and add them to your calendar automatically. Flight status updates are also tracked.
Yes. Tell Callie about a birthday: "Grandma's birthday is June 12" and Callie saves it and sends a reminder before the date each year. Type /birthdays to see all saved birthdays.
Privacy & Security
Yes. Callie is built privacy-first from the ground up. All sensitive data is encrypted with AES-256 before it touches the database. The founder's dashboard shows only anonymous usage patterns, never event titles, grocery items, task content, or message text. No ads, no data selling, ever.
Callie only processes messages that appear to be addressed to her or contain actionable information. She does not read general conversation between family members. Message content is not logged or stored after processing.
Type /deleteaccount in your Callie group chat. Callie will ask you to confirm by typing DELETE. Once confirmed, every piece of your family's data is permanently and immediately removed from our servers. Your Google Calendar events that Callie added will remain in Google Calendar, as those belong to your Google account.

No hard limit. Callie works in any Telegram group regardless of size. All members of the group share the same calendar, grocery list, and task list. One subscription covers the whole family regardless of how many members are in the group.
If you cancel, your family's data remains stored securely until you choose to delete it. Type /deleteaccount and confirm by typing DELETE to permanently remove everything. Your Google Calendar events that Callie added will remain in your Google Calendar.
